At Cupole, we’re a collective of great minds and big hearts. But instead of keeping that for ourselves, we want to give you a chance to read some more about our people and what they have to say about themselves and Cupole.
Let’s get to know a Cupolean!
Hey Arvid, who are you?
Hi! I’m a person who loves trying out new things. Everything from new restaurants to a new place or a new sport. Actually, I wish I could go out and try out new things more often and I always get happy when friends or colleagues ask me to join new activities!
Do you think your parents would agree with that description?
Yeah, I think they would agree with that description. If they would add something, they would probably say that I love being on stage doing theatrical performances. They would probably also say that I commit to things fully since I grew up with activities like games and sports.
What did you do last weekend?
I went out for dinner and drinks with some friends and played the board game Trivial Pursuit. I usually never win but this time I actually did!
Ok, let’s focus on now. What are you doing right this second?
At work, I’m a part of a team trying to understand the dynamics, forces and characteristics of a certain market. The market analysis is then used as a part of a strategy formulation. The good part is that you get to dig really deep into a problem and try to understand what drives the market and what certain players do to get ahead.
How would you describe the culture here at Cupole?
I would describe it as incredibly transparent. The culture is very open, whether it’s about getting to know your colleagues or understanding the company’s development. Also, the adventurous colleagues! Everyone seems to have a special interest to do something daring, like mountain biking or off-piste snowboarding in the Alps. I guess that also influences the culture!
What does it mean to be a Cupolean?
I started at Cupole quite recently and I find it quite hard to define, but what I’ve noticed so far is that people are very clever, hardworking and caring. People at Cupole have strong personal qualities, like humor and compassion, and that’s what creates the fun, challenging and motivating work environment!
What’s your favorite part of the office?
I love that we always have a lot of stuff in the fridge! Yoghurt, beer, drinks, bread or pastries – there’s always something to eat here.
What is your favorite memory from your time at Cupole, so far?
I have to say, presenting for the management of big global companies is always a lot of fun.
Any final words or advice?
I don’t know if I’m in a position to give advice. The thing I value the most is the opportunity to learn and at Cupole, I feel like I’m challenged enough to learn new things on a daily basis. My advice would be to join us!
Stay tuned for more from our Cupoleans!
