At Cupole, we’re a collective of great minds and big hearts. But instead of keeping that for ourselves, we want to give you a chance to read some more about our people and what they have to say about themselves and Cupole.
Let’s get to know a Cupolean!

This is Aron
Hi Aron, what’s up?
The sky.
Very funny..! You’ve just started your first ‘real’ job as a management consultant – what are your impressions so far?
I can describe it with three F’s – it’s Fast, Fun and Freakin’ awesome! More seriously, it’s a lot to learn and really engaging, and I look forward to growing and creating real value for the clients we work with!
You’re part of our post-graduate-program Cupole Academy, would you care to describe the advantages of being part of a program and not just being shipped into a project your first day?
It feels really valuable and helpful to be able to sit down and focus on learning the key skills we need to excel in the projects we will later work on. It’s also great to be part of a group of other new consultants who share your experience and who you build close connections to.
Why did you take an interest in Cupole in the first place?
I truly appreciated that Cupole takes a real interest in us as individuals, and wants to create a work environment where all employees are able to grow personally and professionally as well as create change in the organization from day 1! That’s mainly due to the fact that everyone, from consultant up to partner, works (and plays) close to each other in a setting where you feel seen and heard by everyone.
Last year, what was going through your mind when you were applying to join us (and other firms)? What was your strategy and how did you feel during the whole recruitment process?
I think my strategy was straight forward; I applied to a variety of companies, most of them consultancies. I also spent some time case-cracking and reading up on companies I was interested in. I think it’s important to really get to know the company you are applying to – either by reading up online or maybe reaching out to someone at the company and asking questions and maybe to have a coffee.

…and somewhere like this is where we would find him when he’s on vacation
Ok, now let’s get to know you a little bit better in person. We’ve made a take on the Proust-questionnaire* to get to the core of who you really are (it’s really not that intense, have fun with it):
1. What is your take on success?
Success is subjective and should be celebrated!
2. What living person inspires you on a regular basis?
My dad.
3. What word do you overuse?
Yo!
4. You have 8 weeks of holidays; how do you spend it?
On a beach club somewhere in South-East Asia.
5. What is your most commonly used emoji?
😉
6. If I say ‘plz fx’, how do you respond?
Please fix*
7. Do you have a motto, or do you play the lotto?
When life gives you lemons, sell them.
8. Continue the phrase: = VLOOKUP(
……
9. How would you summarize the Cupole Culture in one sentence?
We get things done and we have fun whilst doing it.
Thanks Aron for taking the time to let us know a bit more about yourself! For our readers; Stay tuned for more from our Cupoleans!
*In case you haven’t heard about the Proust Questionnaire before; it has its origins in a parlor game popularized (though not devised) by Marcel Proust, the French essayist and novelist, who believed that, in answering these questions, an individual reveals his or her true nature.
