Hi Maria!
What are you up to today?
Starting with work again after my parental leave! Got a baby in September and now I alternate baby cuddles (and three-child logistics) with work – a perfect combo for me right now!
You did a consultant-comeback after deciding to stop, what made you come back?
After a few years “on the other side”, I was asked if I wanted to return to Cupole, but not as a consultant. I felt honoured when I realised my experience and expertise was explicitly demanded in this role. I admire Cupole, and I believe it to be an extraordinary workplace radiating with energy. The decision to join Cupole again was true joy! So, not a 100% pure consultant-comeback, but at least a comeback!
What role did you accept, and can you tell us more about it?
I am COO, which include working with everything, but not explicitly in our client projects. My responsibilities range from improving and managing our company to ensure we have fun together. For instance, brand & marketing, our people-agenda, office facilities, our growth strategy and upcoming summer-LUS (i.e. “Lunch Utan Slut” in Swedish 😊) are topics on my table. All of this is done together with great colleagues – I would be nothing without them!
What do you appreciate the most for coming back to Cupole?
The people I get to work with! To be in an organization where I both expect to challenge and be challenged is incredibly inspiring. We are moving forward, upwards and it drives me, so we never lean back and get too comfy. Furthermore, the connection within ARC is another dimension which I find very exciting.
Do you have any tips for other people considering a “real consultant” comeback?
I recommend you to contact Emelie Blitz, Head of Talent Acquisition at Cupole, for a potential consultant-comeback! And we’ll see it from there 😊
