At Cupole, we’re a collective of great minds and big hearts. But instead of keeping that for ourselves, we want to give you a chance to read some more about our people and what they have to say about themselves and Cupole.
Hi Adam, what are you up to today?
Today I am involved in an internal project in which we are looking to strengthen Cupole’s analytics capability, and a market study in which we are looking into the vehicle washing industry.
What’s your role within Cupole and what does that mean?
I am a project manager, and that means that I am responsible for project planning and leading day-to-day project activities. Making sure that we are working on the right things as a Cupole team and making sure that we are interacting with the client in the best possible way.
How do you manage being a parent and work at Cupole?
It is not always easy, but my first priority is my schedule with my daughter, usually other things can be managed around that. As Cupole offers a flexibility program, it’s easier to combine work, and being a parent.
What do you appreciate the most when combining work and family?
I would say synergies. Meaning, spending time with my family gives me energy for work, and vice versa.
Do you have any tips or tricks for consulting parents?
I believe that the task of being a parent simultaneously as a consultant would be difficult for anyone. My mindset is to find balance. For me, the synergies are the key for making it happen – being at work energizes me! That is mostly down to having a caring environment, flexibility in how work is conducted and having colleagues that are supportive and understanding. Being satisfied with the work situation is surely one important factor of succeeding with the life situation.
