This is Jesper!
Every year, we organize student programs to connect with new talents and introduce them to Cupole. One of our programs is an internship. Instead of explaining what our internship is about, we interviewed Jesper who’s been an intern with us during the autumn of 2023.
Jesper is currently a year four student at Lund University and describes himself as someone who loves to try new things, is a big fan of surfing, and has a special interest in bagel making. We asked Jesper a few questions to gain a better understanding of his internship experience at Cupole
Hey Jesper! How would you describe your time at Cupole?
Hey! My time at Cupole has been educational. I’ve been pushed to try new things but always felt like there was support if I needed it. Working with people who are not only smart but also kind and have big hearts makes the work fun and interesting! Looking back, I am very grateful for all the new people I got to work with and learn from.
What did you do during the internship?
I worked on three different projects during my 8-week internship, which was quite a lot but also very exciting as it gave me a broader view of various types of projects. My tasks ranged from participating in meetings with customers to working with Excel. The work was diverse, and I learned a great deal from these experiences.
Why did you apply for the internship at Cupole?
Initially, I was uncertain about a career in consulting, but meeting Cupole in Stockholm changed my perspective. I was impressed by their dedication to not only working hard but also maintaining a healthy work-life balance. What stood out to me was the combination of engaging in interesting projects with intelligent colleagues, within a culture that emphasizes open communication and attentiveness to everyone’s feelings and workload.
Why would you recommend other students to do an internship with Cupole?
Cupole is a fantastic place for an internship because it’s not only fun, but you also get to meet many interesting people. I learned a huge amount in a short time, which was a refreshing change from the theoretical focus at university. It’s an excellent opportunity to apply what you learn in class to real-world situations. In short, if you’re curious, love learning new things, and enjoy being around fascinating people, you should definitely apply!
Thank you, Jesper! We hope this short interview gave you a better idea of what you can expect from an internship at Cupole – stay tuned for upcoming opportunities within Cupole at Cupole.se/join
